About me:
------------------------------------------------------- In Gonzalez's work, there is no gimmick, but only a way to see mankind from inside out, a way to bring into light what is carrying inside of him. Each of us convey our own obsession, create our own world and the fantasy arises out of the union between the artist’s phantasms and the spectator’s ones. Through the eyes of the spectator, a painting becomes a smudgy and distorting mirror where everyone is thrown according his own fascination, believes and state of mind. -------------------------------------------------------- Chez Gonzalez, il n'y a pas d'artifice mais seulement une manière de voir l'homme de l'intérieur, de faire ressortir tout ce qu'il porte en lui. Chacun traduit ce qui l'obsède, crée son propre univers et le fantastique naît de la rencontre des fantasmes de l'artiste et de ceux du spectateur, l'oeuvre étant un miroir trouble et déformant où chacun plonge selon sa propre fascination.
