About me:
Anthony had born in Kaunas city ,Lithuania at 1944 August 1st.Graduated from National Art Academy of Lithuania at 1973. Since 1974 have taken and active part in exhibitions in Lithuania,Latvia,Poland,Russia,Germany showing works in ceramics, mix media,painting,drawing and etchings. Since 2007, started to show paintings at Art festivals in the US. Has been granted with Raymond King Painting Award at East Lansing Art Festival 2007. A.V.Petraitis art peaces are in collections in Lithuania,United Kingdom ,U.S.A. My creative idea is the simple outlines,decorative colors,skittish charcoal stick or brush touches. I'm happy when the viewer can not scent the hard work looking at my art works.
