Biography: Tracey Hagen

  I want to Thank You for visiting Tracey Hagen Photography Studios. One of my favorite things is making a difference in other peoples lives and looking at them through an imaginary lens in an attempt to capture their soul. So, Thank you for giving me that opportunity with you.

 

Miami Beach runs in my blood. I was born into a family that has lived on South Beach for over ninety years. I have two dogs Lola and Looie who continue to inspire me daily. My passion in life is photography and I have been observing life and taking photographs since the age of seven. I grew up always carrying a camera photographing friends, family and strangers. In the past, I was not ready to share my passion with the world and instead I got my Real Estate license.

 

I was inspired as a teenager working summers in my father’s dental office developing x-rays and studying the black and white Polaroid portraits.

 

After ten years as a Realtor, I realized photography was my passion and I chose to pursue it as my business as opposed to a hobby. I have an artist background in fashion and commercial art. I have participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout the country. I was accepted as a resident artist at the Art Center/South Florida on Lincoln Road in 2006 and have recently been accepted and relocated my studio in 2008 to The Bakehouse Art Complex in the Wynwood Arts District in Miami.

 

I have been fortunate enough to have photographed Super Star Celebrities and Socialites. My extensive portfolio includes such celebrities as Mary Tyler Moore, Mario Lopez, Chef Emeril Lagasse, Peter Gallager, Nathan Lane, Bernadetter Peters and countless other Miami V.I.P. socialites.

 

I specialize in capturing the essence of one single moment in time as seen in my series "Dress Code" which will be shown at the Aqua Art Miami Beach 2010 during Art Basel in room #205 with Cancio Contemporary.

 

My favorite thing in life is inspiring others and making a difference in their lives. I want to inspire YOU with my photography. Enjoy!
