About me:
Art never begins, nor does it end. Much as we go on and on. My journey has been like many who have found themselves upon the artists’ path, always learning, and frequently remembering. I am a mishmash of experience and observation. This is both the birthplace of all true art, as well as the means by which one conveys such art through image. It is in the mystery, in the undefined, that the true shape of an event is revealed. At the age of twenty I became lead installer at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York. My exposure to the works of Van Gogh, Degas and so many other impressionists fueled within me a similar appreciation of etching away at the core behind a scenery, the mystery behind the mundane, and the simplicity behind what we take for granted. There is a beauty in nature which we can only glimpse, only fathom for a second before our mind kicks in. And that split second is where my brush is waiting. Waiting to capture the essence behind a thing, and not just the form itself. I am like you, and yet I am like no one else, I am a viewer within the view, much like you, as well as the view. And you?
