Acerca de mi:
To exist, ex-stare, to be out from my self, to represent my self, to enunciate me…
Each experience is the preceding of a sensation, of a feeling of a memory and ultimately a detonator of an impulse, a gesture and a stronger or weaker expansive representation of the impact that this vital experience has inoculated in one, in me…in the others…
I approach art like from the interior of a prison. A space where sensations, desires, pulsions and anxiety are constricted.
Where one resigns to intimacy and social conventions. A sort of recapitulation where everything turns out to be exposed and simultaneously condemned to be circumscribe within four walls. Inclosed in an accepted frame that legitimates its existence through an image that falls upon the memory, that works as a master consciousness, a gatherer of instants and words.
Words that many times emerge out of literature, but in the moment of being integrated into the work of art, they emancipate themselves and look to interpretate a particular cosmos of significants and significations.
My approach to the material involves a determination of transference and transposition of the vital and literary experience. A quest to indagate into the everyday messages and transfer them – with all its possible limitations – to the support, mingling materials and substances pretending to evoke an analogy with the contemporary life, in which everything integrates, opposes, juxtaposes, interposes, overpowers, dilutes and at the end becomes independent and creates by itself.
I explore into the possibility of generating a convergence into concept and matter, fusionate surfaces and ideas, as a parallelism with the existence. A summary of the existential transit in which ideals come to subdue to the social entourage.
I work from the urge to undermine my self, to melt among support and textures as a symbolism of the stored life baggage. Reinvent my self examining meticulously in the most recondite of the conceptions and understandings long time preserved. Patterns’ Break and confirmation. To demolish my self. To rebuild my self. Extend. Exist.
Represent my self.
