About me:
Nace en Valera, Venezuela en 1.957. Vive y estudia en Italia hasta 1.979. Su formación artística la recibe a partir de 1971, primero en el Liceo Artístico, (donde recibe las enseñanzas de los artistas Luigi Mainolfi y Mimmo Paladino, quienes en la década de los ochenta formaron parte del Movimiento artístico Transvanguardia), hasta egresar como Bachiller en Artes, en 1.975, luego se inscribe en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Nápoles y la frecuenta hasta graduarse en 1.979, allí fue discípulo de Domenico Spinosa, Gaetano Sgambati y Gianni Pisani, entre otros. - En el ambiente académico forma parte activa de los movimientos artísticos italianos y realiza sus primeras obras que se enmarcan dentro de las corrientes de la época, realiza exposiciones personales, entre otras, en la Pinacoteca de la Academia y en la Galería Modern Art Agency, de Lucio Amelio, en Nápoles, Italia. - En 1.979 se radica en Valera, Venezuela y participa en los principales salones del país. -Sus obras están permanentemente alineadas con las vanguardias y son soportadas por una constante información de lo que acontece en el ámbito de las artes plásticas en los principales escenarios internacionales.
