Biography: Alexandra Figueredo

Alexandra is the co-founder of ArtistaMundo.com, along with her sisters Cristina and Annette. She also recently founded Artista Foundation, as a non-profit charity to promote the arts. As this is her passion, she has undertaken the task of finding new tools and resources to help the arts community both through ArtistaMundo.com and Artista Foundation.

Alexandra is the host of an online video series where she attends arts events, interviews artists and gallerists and promotes various arts organizaitons. Her largest project was covering the full week of Art Basel-Miami Beach 2010 events and satellite art fairs. She is also working on a traveling series where she will promote the arts around the world.

Currently Alexandra is obtaining her masters in Global Stregic Communications at Florida International University. She received her undergraduate degree in Business and Latin American Studies from the University of Florida. A lover of travel, she has taken her studies abroad multiple times, including Sevilla, Spain, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Oxford, England. She has been to 5 continents, most recently stepping foot on Africa when she visited Morocco.
