The art of Aleksandr Shevelev from Rybinsk, Russia has an indestructible relation to a certain time. An era for him to live and to create in. An era with it's history which determined his art inclination. Themes served as subjects in his works are diverse: russian nature with it's bright revolution of the seasons, different aspects of province life, historical tendencies of urban and rural life, et cetera. To find the artistic and historical sides of ordinary life and than bring it to his artworks is the main thing Aleksandr aims at.
