About me:
El arte, como todo producto elaborado por el hombre, puede estar motivado por fines económicos y es tarea harto compleja, hoy más que nunca, definirlo en sus diversas manifestaciones, pero nunca debe olvidar que su razón de ser, además del disfrute de los sentidos, es inducir a la reflexión, comunicar, crear sensaciones, provocar sentimientos e interrelacionar mundos y visiones diferentes. El arte postmoderno, autorreferencial, ajeno al entorno social y asociado (es cierto que no todo) a tendencias de mercado, valores, inversiones, etc., ha ignorado esta premisa y ha negado con su axioma, "el arte habla del arte", su esencia misma… así pues, en mi modesta opinión, lo creado no es arte, sólo mercancía publicitada por ávidos intereses. En tanto que artista, expreso mi más profundo respeto por todos los que, ajenos a luces, cámaras, marketing e intereses, crean, en silencio y desde lo más profundo de su ser, obras que nunca serán expuestas, cotizadas ni promocionadas. Series: Texaureos I-II; es el resultado de largas reflexiones sobre el terror, el hombre roto, el exilio y la triste memoria de la distancia, el naufragio... un modesto intento de denuncia ante la constante deuda que nos une a aquellos que en otras partes del mundo todavía sufren. Eterna gratitud a los poetas... sin sus áureos textos no habría sido posible esta Colección. Wisdom Collection; refleja la relación hombre-Divinidad y constituye motivo de reflexión para todos los que viajan por los caminos de la mente e intentan vivir en armonía con el Creador que, si bien nos ha concedido libre albedrío, sigue siendo nuestro guía en el ejercicio de esa libertad. Emigrantes; conjunto de obras que intenta sensibilizar un mundo cada vez más indiferente al hombre, a su incertidumbre, fugas y destierros, a la enorme carga de dolor y frustración derivada de la pérdida de sus raíces. Crossing Time; parte de la frase bíblica: "No pertenece al hombre terrestre su camino, siquiera dirigir su paso", y reflexiona sobre los complejos caminos que guían los pasos del hombre a través del tiempo.
