Biografía: Talia Almog

Inspired by the social constraints surrounding her as a young child in Tel Aviv, Tali began painting at the age of ten. Spend five minutes with Tali and you are seduced and inspired by her sincerity, beauty, and soulful warmth. View her artwork and you will know instantly why this exotic Israeli is one of the most respected and sought after young artists in the world.

Tali studied art, history, and creation in Tel Aviv before moving to New York where she and her twin sister lived for four years. After moving to Los Angeles, she studied privately for four years under a professor, who was on the faculty at the Bezalel Academy of Art, and where she was inspired by colors, shape, contrast, and imagery to better express her inner soul and spirituality, and flowered into the artist she has become.

After nurturing and developing her talent in Los Angeles where her work was featured in several gallery shows and purchased by art savvy Hollywood elites, Tali relocated to Miami. “I have always been an artist with all my heart and soul. While painting an abstract for a client, my own expressionism and surrealism emerged with ‘Rothko esque’ motifs. I realized then I had found my artistic home.

Tali’s passion and soulful artistic expression actualizes her innermost spiritual thoughts and beliefs. Her work combines impressionistic, emotions, and abstract idealism and facets of a unique personality. While viewing Tali’s art, one realizes quickly that each of her pieces in some way is a reflection of her sincerity and intimacy that infuses her work and makes it powerful, spiritual, and timeless.

Tali also gives back to the community by donating her paintings to a variety of charitable causes. In July 2006, she donated a painting to "AGUDA LEMA'AN ACHYAL" for the benefit of Israeli soldiers. In December 2006, Tali donated a painting to Sabrina Foundation for disabled people. In May 2007, Tali also donated to the Agape Center family resource program for community action.

Tali speaks in a soft, endearing accent that seems to lie mysteriously somewhere between French and Hebrew. Her love affair with Miami is borne from its similarity to her native Israel, a warm, cultural, family- oriented people. Tali has exclusive showing of her work at “Up-Scale Galleries” in the Miami design district, Bal Harbor, and California. From 2004-2006, Tali has sold 160 paintings nationwide and continues to receive a large response and wide acknowledgment from the artistic community.
