silvana soriano

Biography: silvana soriano

 

 

Silvana Soriano was born in Brazil. She works as a printmaker, painter and art teacher. Silvana began her studies in printing and painting at the School of Visual Arts, the centre of many important Brazilian artists, in Rio de Janeiro. She received her bachelor degree in Art Education at the Bennett University, Brazil. Her teaching experience includes universities, public schools and private workshops.
Since moved to Miami, she has been working in different art projects to Arts for Learning (Lewis Art Academy, Early Childhood and Afterschool programs). She also has been working with illustration for children books.
 Silvana Soriano has been an exhibiting artist and printmaker for over 20 years. She has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Brazil, Spain, France, USA and Cuba.
