I was traditionally trained in design and illustration, doing mostly paste-up art and airbrushing, then in 1988 discovered the Macintosh computer. The world changed for me when I could "undo" a mistake, choose from millions of colors to airbrush, not breathe any more toxic paint fumes and could apply my traditional knowledge to the design, illustration and painting programs that were to come. The computer is only a tool, so when you master the programs that allow you to illustrate with this tool, the possibilities are endless. I've never looked back.
My work has been featured in many magazines including "Photoshop User" and "SBS Digital Design" and books including "Illustrator 7 Studio Secrets" and "The Illustrator CS3 Wow! Book". It can also be seen in numerous illustration directories including New Media Showcase 3, Graphic Artists' Guild Directory of Illustration Vols. 8, 9 & 11, RX Plus Source Book Volume 3, American Showcase 23, and The Black Book Illustration 2003.
