I’m a native of Mexico City who lives and works in Ontario, Canada, I have never been in any kind of art school, I have learned only by observation, practice and error, for me every day is exiting because that day I will discover a new form to approach my painting
Throughout the day I can be found painting, I use every moment in my life to inspire my artwork, absorbing and collecting life experiences that later on I convert into paintings, I can use acrylic, ink, oil and oil crayons but mostly just oil over canvas, wood or cardboard.In my abstract paintings, I have looked for a visual equivalent of the life force, those special things that do not represent material things such as fertility, reflection, piety, feelings and so on. I invite the viewer to experience an alternative vision of the world through my imagination. I weave elements that break up the natural world into multiple perspectives creating various avenues to follow throughout the paintings.
